GALLERY TARGETでは所属作家hi-dutchとdugudagiiによる二人展「resin and yin and yang」を開催いたします。
互いに樹脂を用いた独創的な表現を続けている両名、サーフボードのリペア技術の延長から毛糸を使い現在の表現にたどり着いたhi-dutchと、ハードコア、スケートボードなど自身のバックボーンを起点に草花を媒介とし樹脂に封じ込めるdugudagii。
両者のパーソナリティは太陽と月、いつも明るく周りを巻き込む魅力を持つhi-dutchと寡黙でどこか遠慮がちな雰囲気を纏うdugudagii、対局と言っても良い温度差にも関わらず気の合う二人がレジンという共通のマテリアルを通して実験的に創り上げる本展覧会はメインビジュアルの陰陽マークに集約された渾身の展示となっています。
両者の世界観を存分にご堪能頂ける作品群を是非ご高覧下さい。

1977東京生まれ。
2000年より独学により絵画、グラフィック制作を始める。
2009年より樹脂による立体物の制作を開始。主に透明の樹脂に草花を封入し、形と封入された草花により構築した作品を発表している。
hi-dutch / Takahiro Hida
1972年生まれ。
サーフボードリペアのキャリアにより習得した樹脂を用いた技術を用いて、毛糸、木材、樹脂を合わせた表現を続けている。
日本各地で作品展やグループショー、店内装飾などで作品を発表。また、アメリカ（サンフランシスコ、ロサンゼルス、テキサス、サンノゼ、ハワイ）香港、台湾（台北）オーストラリアなどのグループショーに参加するなど海外でも作品を発表している。

GALLERY TARGET is pleased to announce a duo show by hi-dutch and dugudagi, "resin and yin and yang".
Both artists have been creating their art works using resin. hi-dutch has arrived at his current expression using wool yarn as an extension of his surfboard repair technique, while dugudagii uses flowers and grasses as a medium to encapsulate resin, which the concept originated from hardcore and skateboarding culture he adores.
The personalities of the two artists are like sun and moon: hi-dutch is always cheerful and has a charm that engages those around him, while dugudagii is taciturn and somewhat reserved. Despite their counterpart like differences, they both share friendship and passion using resin as a tool to express themselves. Experimental collaboration of hi-dutch and dugudagii, their all-out effort is summarized in the yin-yang symbol, main visuals of this exhibition.

dugudagii
Born in 1977
Started self-taught painting and graphic production in 2000.
Started creating three-dimensional objects using resin in 2009. His works are mainly composed of transparent plants in which plants are encapsulated and are constructed from shapes and encapsulated plants.
hi-dutch / Takahiro Hida
Born in 1972
Technique using resign was developed through his career of repairing surf boards. hi-dutch has been creating art works with resin combinining with yarns, woods and other materials. He has been exhibiting his works not only at galleries but at stores in various cities including, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, San Jose, Hawaii, Taipei and Australia. best films of all time, winning four Academy Awards.
